Join Fyzical, the fastest growing PT Company in the U.S., managed by a private, entrepreneurial ENT Practice which incorporates Physical Therapy and Audiology to provide a comprehensive medical hearing and balance program located in a large senior community.
We are looking for a Dispensing Audiologist to join our team at a new location in South Orange County, CA. The practice focuses on balance evaluations and vestibular therapy using CDP (Computerized Dynamic Posturography) and a state of the art overhead rails system, and quality of life improvements achieved through assistive hearing devices. This is a Per Diem/Part Time position to start with the potential to grow.
Essential Functions of Position:
Screen for clinical needs by reviewing medical history, performing system reviews and screening; Test and measure patients hearing and recommend assistive devices and/or hearing aids as appropriate;
Conduct hearing evaluations and diagnosis; Develop, plan, prepare and implement a written treatment program based on evaluation and interpretation of patient data; administer or execute therapeutic recommendations; Instruct, motivate and assist patient to perform various self care/device care, as appropriate;
Develop, document and execute a plan of care, recommend and provide treatments.
Collaborate with Physicians and clinical staff regarding patient treatment plan, progress and changes in status.
Follow all Federal, State and local regulations and HIPPA guidelines.
Manage several patients at the same time with high energy and organization.
Meet productivity goals and standards for productivity.
Participate in continuing education and incorporate information into practice.

Licenses and Certifications: Graduate of an accredited Audiology program, Masters or AuD required; current licensure as a Dispensing Audiologist in the State of California required; current BLS/CPR certification; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic medical records systems.
